About Sheldon

I was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2000. This last session I was the Chair of the Labor, Workplace and Regulated Industries Committee. I also serve as Chair of the Mississippi River Parkway Commission. Other committees that I am a member of include Judiciary Policy and Finance, Higher Education Policy and Finance, Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy, as well as Rules and Legislative Administration for the House.

I have two adult daughters, Renee and Eva. I live in an old Victorian house overlooking Pig's Eye Lake.
